On May 27th I had the opportunity to DJ the Taylor Allderdice prom for the Juniors and Seniors. For those that don't know, Allderdice was the high school of Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, and Pittsburgh Slim. The venue was the Circuit Center in South Side which is a large and beautiful banquet room right along the river. I threw down a mostly hip hop set and the kids seemed to really enjoy the music, better than a wedding DJ right? What they didn't know was that Mac Miller (who graduated just last year) was behind stage waiting to come out and do a surprise show. It was an awesome surprise and one the kids will never forget.
